Job summary

Equals in Amsterdam seeks a regulatory compliance professional to support Senior Regulatory Compliance Managers and the Head of Regulatory Compliance in day-to-day execution of the compliance roadmap. You will focus on specific technical areas, monitor regulatory developments, and provide high-quality advice across the business.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in regulatory compliance within financial services, preferably payments.
• Experience working with regulatory bodies such as the National Bank of Belgium (NBB) is an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills across all levels of stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of EU/Belgian regulatory frameworks including PSD2, AML/CTF, GDPR and DORA is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support Senior Regulatory Compliance Managers and Head of Regulatory Compliance in day-to-day execution of the compliance roadmap.
• Manage specific regulatory change projects as they arise.
• Provide independent 2nd line review and challenge to business units in a 'advise, train and monitor' model.
• Draft and implement compliance policies and procedures.
• Develop training materials related to Compliance policies.
• Keep up to date with regulatory change matters and supervisory themes.
• Liaise with external advisors and assurance providers.
• Promote a culture prioritising good customer and regulatory outcomes across the business.
