Job summary

Owens Corning is seeking a Technical Manager Roofing Europe to lead the technical product-management interface for a portfolio of flat roofing systems across Europe. You will work with Sales, Marketing, R&D and Supply Chain to drive customer success and sustainable growth.

The role blends technical leadership with strategic influence, requiring experience in roofing, building envelope and portfolio management. Hybrid work with travel up to 40% is supported.

Qualifications

• Fluent English and German required.
• 5+ years’ experience in roofing, waterproofing, insulation, building envelope, construction materials, technical product management or related field.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical interface and lead technical product management for Roofing System Components.
• Guide application and installation; advise customers, contractors and installers on product selection and system build-ups.
• Strengthen the portfolio by identifying gaps, gathering market feedback and evaluating new products.
• Protect quality and compliance; support technical claims investigations and regulatory alignment.
• Build technical content such as installation guidelines, manuals and best-practice documents.
• Engage with testing institutes, certification bodies and industry orgs for approvals and sustainability requirements.
• Develop and deliver technical training and product presentations for internal and external audiences.
• Lead supplier interface; evaluate product performance and documentation quality.
