Job summary

Tradeweb Europe Limited in Amsterdam seeks a seasoned Senior ERM leader to oversee EU/UK risk programs within the 2LoD. You will partner with Compliance, Legal, and Operations to strengthen enterprise and operational risk frameworks across regulatory domains including AFM, ESMA, and FCA.

You’ll lead regional risk assessments, develop risk appetite metrics, and present risk insights to local and global committees, while aligning with global standards and the firm’s risk governance.

Qualifications

15+ years in enterprise or operational risk management in financial markets, trading venues, or fintech under EU/UK regulation.
Strong understanding of AFM and DNB expectations for governance, resilience, outsourcing, and oversight.
Experience with risk frameworks, RCSAs, and risk appetite monitoring; ability to provide challenge to 1LoD.

Responsibilities

Lead EU/UK 2LoD ERM for regional coverage and regulatory engagements.
Oversee ERM framework implementation across EU/UK entities; manage risk assessments and dashboards.
Provide independent challenge of 1LoD activities (RCSAs, issues, control effectiveness).
Lead horizon scanning for EU/UK regulatory developments (DORA, MiFID II, EMIR, MAR).
Produce risk reports for local and global risk committees and boards; collaborate with Global ERM teams.
