Job summary

A global trading firm is searching for an Operational Risk Manager to lead operational and prudential risk management across its European offices. This role includes enhancing risk frameworks, conducting risk surveys, and engaging with regulators. Excellent English communication skills are required, along with a relevant academic background. This role is based in Amsterdam with travel across European offices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant operational & prudential risk management experience in financial services.
• Proven experience interpreting prudential risk regulations and implementing them.
• Experience with ICARA processes, Pillar 3 disclosures, and prudential reporting.
• Strong understanding of financial markets and trading operations.

Responsibilities

• Enhance the Key Control Framework with effective testing and monitoring.
• Conduct proactive risk assessments to identify and evaluate key risks.
• Lead Business Continuity Planning processes and testing across offices.
• Manage prudential risk for Amsterdam and London entities.
