Job summary

Martin Veasey Talent Solutions works with a client launching a new connected fleet platform in Europe, starting in the Netherlands. You’ll be the first in-country Technical Support Engineer, handling onboarding, data accuracy, activation, and documentation, with escalation to the UK team when needed.

The role requires 1–3 years in a technical role, fluent English, and a Netherlands residence with the right to work. Hybrid work is offered, with three days in the office in Rotterdam or Overijssel.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, information technology or a closely related subject.
• 1–3 years of work experience in a technical role (support, service desk, or similar).
• Good IT literacy and problem-solving without scripts.
• Ability to keep accurate records and paperwork.
• Confidently communicate with customers and colleagues across countries.
• Ability to organise own work; manager based in the UK.
• Fluent English in working environment.
• Must live in the Netherlands and have right to work; no sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Ensure systems and data are correct; set up vehicles and customers on the platform.
• Handle activation, installation paperwork and record-keeping.
• Manage subscriptions, devices, and portals; support rollout coordination.
• First-line support for customers; escalate deeper issues to UK specialists.
• Test new features prior to customer release and participate in daily team calls.
