Job summary

Innodisk Europe B.V. is seeking an experienced Field Application Engineer Manager to lead and strengthen our European FAE team in Eindhoven.

You will act as both a technical leader and people manager, supporting customers across Europe and guiding the team. This office-based role combines hands-on technical work with leadership, including product validation, troubleshooting, and ensuring high service quality.

Qualifications

University degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering or related field.
At least 5 years of experience in a technical customer-facing role (FAE, Application Engineer, Technical Support, etc.).
Prior knowledge in mainboard/GPU solutions as well as storage devices (RAID, SSD, DRAM) is a plus.
Ability to write 8D reports with strong analytical skills.
Familiarity with PC production processes, including RMA/DOA handling.
Experience with Linux OS and programming languages (C/C++, Python).
Experience in embedded system architecture (X86/ARM) and Linux-based environments.
Experience in leading a team of technical colleagues.

Responsibilities

Lead the European FAE team and define priorities, and act as the main technical leadership interface toward HQ.
Ensure consistent technical standards, documentation, and best practices across the European FAE team.
Perform product testing and simulations to ensure quality and functionality.
Provide on-site technical support, including customer visits when necessary.
Conduct in-house testing to address issues encountered in the field.
Address customer complaints, troubleshoot problems, and provide product specifications.
