Job summary

Delta Electronics seeks a highly experienced Senior Field Application Engineer to drive growth across Europe. You will bridge R&D and customers, with deep expertise in Flowpack, Horizontal and Vertical form-fill-seal systems, and packaging machinery.

The role requires 10+ years in FAE/Automation within packaging, strong PLC programming, motion control, and hands-on commissioning in European markets. Travel up to 40-50% is expected, with English mandatory and other European languages advantageous.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of proven experience as an FAE, Commissioning Engineer, or Automation Engineer in packaging machinery.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or related technical field.
• Deep, hands-on understanding of packaging mechanics and control loops for Flowpack, HFSS, and VFSS applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert‑level pre‑sales and post‑sales technical support to European customers for HFFS, VFFS and Flowpack machinery.
• Design customized engineering solutions (motion control, drives, PLC programming, and HMI integration).
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues on‑site or remotely, minimizing downtime and ensuring optimal performance.
• Deliver high‑quality technical training sessions and mentor junior application engineers.
