Job summary

Magnus Energy seeks an experienced Electricity Market Integration Expert to support EU stakeholders in market analysis projects related to day-ahead and intraday markets, and capacity calculations. You will derive insights through data analysis and modelling, while helping draft proposals and training teammates.

The role requires a strong technical background, autonomy, and fluency in English, with Dutch or German as a plus.

Qualifications

Master's degree in electrical engineering, energy economics, physics or related field.
Solid understanding of EU electricity markets in day-ahead and intraday timeframes and associated capacity calculation methodologies and regulatory developments in the EU.
3–5 years of experience in electricity market analysis for EU stakeholders, especially EU TSOs.
Strong analytical and data visualization skills.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality support to EU stakeholders (e.g. TSOs, RCCs, NRAs, market parties, NEMOs…) in projects related to coupled day-ahead and intraday markets and their capacity calculation methodologies.
Derive impactful insights through data analysis, visualization and potentially modelling.
Support the team in drafting tailored project proposals for clients for future projects.
Train and support other team members.
