Job summary

Magnus Energy, based in Naarden, the Netherlands, seeks a Senior Consultant to lead European energy market and system integration projects. You will guide multidisciplinary teams, defining cooperation, developing methods, strategies, processes and IT tools across Europe.

You will drive programme success, mitigate risks and ensure progress while mentoring colleagues. A Masters degree and 3–5 years PM experience are expected, with English plus Dutch/German fluency.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering or business with excellent grades.
• 3–5 years working experience; project management experience and/or experience of electricity and gas markets is a plus.
• Analytically strong with structured thinking, forward-looking problem-solving and strategic insight.
• Excellent communication: mobilize people from different audiences, active listening and presentation skills.
• Fluency in Dutch or German (C2) and professional fluency in English (C1).
• Clear link with the Netherlands, having lived or studied here.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and self-starting approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex business and technology transformation programs for European clients.
• Bring structure, governance and clear decision-making to programs.
• Anticipate risks and propose solutions to keep programs on track.
• Maintain impartial oversight to ensure progress and decisions.
• Develop project management and leadership skills across disciplines.
• Mentor, coach and develop team members to drive success.
