Magnus Energy, a leading European energy consultancy, seeks a Managing Consultant – Energy Markets & Strategy to lead strategic projects across Europe from Brussels or Naarden. You will work with senior client stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams to deliver practical, evidence-based recommendations.

The role covers energy markets, strategy, regulation, flexibility, electrification and infrastructure, with opportunities to shape client decisions and advance long-term energy systems.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of consulting experience with energy transition expertise.
• Ability to structure complex challenges and translate insights into recommendations.
• Experience leading large projects and communicating with senior stakeholders.
• Master's degree in a relevant discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead consulting projects or major workstreams from problem definition to implementation planning.
• Advise energy-sector and industrial clients on strategy, markets, flexibility, electrification and regulation.
• Translate analysis into decisions using evidence such as market, regulatory, quantitative data.
• Build trusted client relationships and communicate complex findings clearly.
• Contribute to growth through proposals and thought leadership.
