Job summary

Magnus Energy is seeking a Managing Consultant – Energy Markets & Strategy to lead projects across Europe from Brussels or Naarden. You will drive energy strategy, market analyses and complex programmes for clients including regulators and system operators.

You will guide multidisciplinary teams, build client relationships and contribute to proposals, thought leadership, and growth of Magnus Energy.

Qualifications

• Proven experience (5–10 years) in consulting with energy-transition expertise.
• Experience in energy markets, regulation or infrastructure advisable.
• Ability to structure complex challenges and translate insights into recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Lead consulting projects or major workstreams for European energy clients.
• Advise on energy strategy, markets, flexibility and electrification.
• Grow client relationships and support proposals and business development.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders and manage multidisciplinary teams.
• Translate analyses into actionable investment and policy recommendations.
