Job summary

OMEGA, Inc. in Eindhoven is seeking an Equipment Engineer (Electronics) to help define and implement the roadmap for X-ray tubes and detectors, and to develop high-tech equipment for industrial automation and precision electronics.

You will work in multidisciplinary teams with Process Engineering, Maintenance, R&D, and operations, lead small projects, and contribute to data-driven factory infrastructure. The role requires a degree in Electronics or Industrial Automation, experience in

Qualifications

Degree in Electronics or Industrial Automation.
Several years in Electronics or Industrial Automation Engineering preferred.
Experience with PLCs, LabVIEW, and data acquisition/analysis.
Ability to lead projects or grow into a project leader role.
Broad technical interest across software, mechanics, and physics.

Responsibilities

Develop high-tech equipment for X-ray tube and detector production and advancement.
Work on cutting-edge electronics and machine controls across diverse applications.
Collaborate with Process Engineering, Maintenance, R&D and operations; engage with external partners.
Support production by troubleshooting process and production issues (~25% of time).
Establish an industrial infrastructure for data-driven, interconnected (Factory4.0) processes.
Potentially lead projects and develop into a project leader role.
