Job summary

Xelvin in the Eindhoven region is seeking an Electronics Failure Analysis Engineer who investigates failures in advanced electronic and mechatronic products and translates findings into improvements. You will work at the intersection of engineering, quality and production, combining analysis with hands-on troubleshooting.

In this role you test, measure and troubleshoot with a methodical approach, collaborate with production and quality teams, and contribute to ongoing reliability and design

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics or related field.
• Structured and analytical approach to technical problems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Investigate technical failures in electronic and mechatronic products and identify underlying causes.
• Perform structured failure investigations and translate findings into conclusions.
• Test, measure and troubleshoot products and components hands-on.
• Collaborate with engineers, production and quality specialists to solve recurring issues.
• Support implementation of short-term solutions to prevent defects in production.
• Identify opportunities to improve product reliability and future designs.
• Document investigations and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects across the organization.
