Job summary

Vertage is building the platform behind the future of workforce solutions, including AI-enabled products. As Enterprise Architect, you will own the coherence of the technology estate across business, data, application, integration, infrastructure and security.

You will lead through architecture standards and a design authority, guiding engineering, product and regional teams toward a shared target state, with security by design and AI capability embedded from day one.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect spanning business, data, application, integration, infrastructure and security.
• Leads through influence and technical authority rather than formal management.
• Experience with multi-region, multi-brand, or multi-tenant products.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the target-state architecture across business, data, application, integration, infrastructure and security domains.
• Set the architecture principles, standards and reusable patterns that engineering and product teams adopt.
• Own one integrated technology roadmap that sequences change and aligns domain roadmaps.
• Architect for scale: multi-tenancy, entity separation, shared services, and non-functional standards.
• Design how products work across regions — data residency, localisation, currency, regulation.
• Partner with the VP Data & AI to build reference architectures for AI and agentic capability in client-facing services.
• Embed security, privacy and resilience into every design from the outset.
• Lead a design authority focused on cross-domain decisions and high-impact programmes.
• Mentor architects and engineers across the business, raising design thinking.
• Act as trusted technical advisor to the CTPO and senior leadership.
