Job summary

Riverflex is seeking an Applied AI Specialist to join our Amsterdam-based team. You will operate at the intersection of business, product, and technology, translating client needs into AI-powered solutions and prototypes using no-code tools, connectors, and agents.

You will lead AI workstreams for European retailers and financial services, redesign internal workflows around AI, mentor colleagues, and help launch coaching and change propositions, shaping how AI lands inside organisations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in consulting, transformation, change, product, or operating-model work.
• Ability to enter a function, model how work is done today, and redesign it.
• Hands-on experience with Claude Code, Cursor or any AI-powered IDEs.
• Prototype independently using AI-assisted tools and no-code platforms for skills, plugins or connectors.
• Understanding of context windows, memory, tools, agents, and evaluation for LLMs.
• Know when to use AI and when not to, including coding agents vs building.
• Strong client presence with director-level stakeholders.
• Curious, always-learning mindset with interest in AI trends.
• English fluent, Netherlands-based.

Responsibilities

• Lead Applied AI workstreams on flagship engagements with major European retailers and financial services clients.
• Redesign Riverflex internal AI capability platform, delivery process, and ways of working around AI.
• Elevate the team’s craft by sharing patterns, coaching colleagues, and contributing to a reusable library.
• Help build AI coaching and change propositions, productizing materials and running early engagements.
