Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc is seeking an Applied AI Director to join a hybrid team across Europe. You will advise C-suite leaders on AI transformation, shape strategic initiatives, and move client engagements from experimentation to production-ready AI solutions.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in consulting, engineering, design and data, growing the Applied AI practice and guiding large-scale organizational change. Hybrid work with frequent cross-border collaboration is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry-specific transformation experience.
• Deep understanding of business drivers and regulatory considerations.
• Hands-on expertise in generative AI and agentic systems.
• Proven executive stakeholder management with C-suite and boards.
• Strong commercial and go-to-market acumen.
• Leadership mindset for reimagining operating models with AI.

Responsibilities

• Act as trusted advisor to C-suite and board-level stakeholders on AI transformation.
• Define and drive AI strategies with practical generative AI applications.
• Identify high-impact AI opportunities with clear value pathways.
• Lead cross-functional teams from concept to production adoption.
• Grow the Applied AI practice through talent development and market positioning.
• Shape engagements, build business cases and lead presales with account teams.
• Monitor market and competitive developments to inform strategy.
• Mentor consultants and client stakeholders to build AI capabilities.
