Job summary

Start People is seeking a skilled CNC Milling Machinist in the Netherlands to manufacture a variety of components for new machines and existing installations. You will program, set up, machine, and inspect using a 5-axis CNC milling system with Heidenhain controls and Vectorcam CAD/CAM software.

You will read drawings, perform in-process measurements, and address deviations while joining a close team of professionals.

Qualifications

• MBO-level education or equivalent working and thinking level.
• Experience with CNC milling and machining techniques.
• Experience programming CNC machines, preferably using Heidenhain controls.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Experience with 5-axis milling machines is a plus.
• A precise and quality-focused approach, with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Good command of English, both spoken and written. Knowledge of Dutch is an advantage.

Job description

As a CNC Milling Machinist, you will manufacture a wide range of machine components for both new machines and existing installations used by customers around the world. This makes your work varied and interesting: one day you may be producing a complex component for a new machine, while the next you are making a critical part to get an existing machine back up and running. You will work with a 5-axis CNC milling machine and be involved in the entire production process, from programming and setting up the machine to machining and inspecting the finished product. You will work with Heidenhain controls and Vectorcam CAD/CAM software. The variety of products, sizes and materials ensures plenty of technical challenges. You will join a close-knit team of skilled professionals where teamwork, quality and craftsmanship are key. There will also be opportunities to broaden your skills and gain experience with other machining techniques.

You will work day shifts from Monday to Thursday, 07:00–16:00, and Friday, 07:00–13:30. Alternative working hours can be discussed.
