Job summary

TECS, a Benelux/European engine and turbine control specialist, seeks an Engineering Team Lead in Hoofddorp to head an engineering department of 14–15 professionals. The role covers project engineering, service engineering and cabinet building with a mix of office and occasional site work.

You will drive delivery, resource planning and customer-focused improvements while mentoring engineers in the UK and Germany and collaborating with the Italian team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience leading a technical or engineering team.
• HBO/WO degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Operational Technology.
• Hands-on control systems experience; rotating equipment knowledge is a plus.
• Fluent English; Dutch preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of 14–15 project engineers, service engineers, coordinators and cabinet technicians.
• Assign projects, monitor progress and ensure successful delivery.
• Maintain resource planning for projects, service and quotations with two engineering coordinators.
• Review designs and ensure ISO, CE and ATEX compliance.
• Mentor engineers in the UK and Germany and collaborate with the Italy team.
