Job summary

Tecwave B.V. is seeking a Team Lead Engineering and Technology to manage a team of about 15 engineers and draftsmen in Rotterdam. You will drive personal development, improve engineering quality and plan capacity in short and long term within a matrix organization.

You will collaborate with team leaders, project teams and the discipline manager, ensure resources, promote sustainable employability, and support a healthy work culture while driving productivity and process optimization.

Qualifications

• HBO education in Electrical Engineering, Technical Business Administration, or similar.
• At least 10 years of work experience, including 5 years in a leadership role.
• Experience in a technical environment within energy or infrastructure.
• Strong communication skills and organizational sensitivity.
• Experience with people management, coaching, and capacity planning.

Responsibilities

• Guiding and developing engineers and draftsmen within your team.
• Ensuring quality and continuously improving engineering processes.
• Preparing capacity planning and coordinating with project leaders.
• Promoting sustainable employability and a healthy work culture.
• Providing resources such as PPE, software licenses, and training.
• Actively collaborating with other team leaders and contributing to uniformity and knowledge sharing.
• Driving productivity, personnel planning, and process optimization.
