Job summary

Adyen is seeking an Engineering Lead for Fleet Management to own the technical strategy for our global terminal lifecycle—from factory ordering to distribution, replacement, and reporting. Qualifications

• 10+ years engineering experience with 5+ years as a leader building and mentoring high-performing teams in global companies delivering complex scalable platforms.
• Experience hiring and managing a sizeable software development organisation (ideally 25–50 engineers) including managers.
• Skilled in building large-scale distributed systems, ideally with expertise in Java or similar programming languages, with focus on architecture and maintainability.
• Experience with payments or logistics industry would be helpful.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to translate complex technical concepts to tech and non-tech audiences.
• Able to streamline engineering operations and define product requirements with product and merchants.
