Adyen is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Optimize Interfaces team, owning the engineering foundation behind Payments Optimization. You will mentor backend, machine learning and data engineers, and drive architecture strategy to deliver scalable services with impact.

You will collaborate with Design, Product, Data and Merchant teams to refine requirements and align delivery with strategic goals, while nurturing future leaders in a fast-paced, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in managing engineering teams within a Java environment.
• 5+ years experience in software development in a fast-paced tech environment.
• Familiarity with ML and Data Engineering teams is a strong advantage.
• Experience mentoring data professionals is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Lead cross-functional Optimization Interfaces team with hands-on technical leadership.
• Collaborate with Design, Product, Data Engineers, Machine Learning Engineers, Developers and other key stakeholders.
• Mentor team members in engineering best practices and scalable design.
