Job summary

NL Health Services is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care at the Dr. Hugh Twomey Health Centre in Central Zone. The role involves promoting person- and family-centered care and collaborating with the health team to ensure safety and quality of care.

Requirements include nursing registration, BLS, and willingness to complete next available PALS/TNCC/ACLS/CTAS courses, plus Health Assessment training. This is a permanent full-time position with rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate person- and family-centered care.
• Current BLS certification for health care providers.
• Certification in PALS, TNCC, ACLS and CTAS or willingness to complete next available courses.
• Completion of Health Assessment course or willingness to complete next available course.

Responsibilities

• Provide complete nursing care to clients at Dr. Hugh Twomey Health Centre.
• Promote safety and partner with team to improve worker and patient safety.
• Demonstrate ICARE values in daily practice.
• Maintain professional conduct and documentation as required.
