Job summary

NL Health Services seeks a Nurse Practitioner (Family/All Ages) to join the Central Zone team at Mose Ambrose Clinic. This permanent full-time role involves practicing to full scope, providing comprehensive primary care, and leading clinic initiatives within an interdisciplinary group.

You will diagnose, treat, and manage patient care, expand access, and document in the EMR. Flexible hours and travel across the region may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a Nurse Practitioner program approved by Central Health.
• Current registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the College of Registered Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador.
• Current BLS certification.
• Demonstrated knowledge of home and community health services.
• Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving skills; strong oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive assessment and care to clients.
• Diagnose conditions, prescribe medications, and order diagnostic tests.
• Deliver follow-up care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Lead clinic evaluations and participate in quality improvement processes.
• Document care in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
