Job summary

Delta Safety Manager leads the development, implementation, and governance of health and safety programmes across Delta’s Europe, Middle East and Africa operations, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and corporate requirements while driving continuous safety performance and a strong safety culture.

This leadership role oversees safety activities across multiple countries, reports to the EMEA Service Director, and directs risk assessments, incident investigations, training, and safety

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in health and safety management within multi-country, technical or industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of European EHS legislation and familiarity with regional regulatory frameworks.
• Proven ability to lead incident prevention, risk management, and compliance programmes.
• Experience supporting field service, installation, or project-based operations.
• Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish health and safety governance frameworks, standards, and procedures across multiple countries.
• Monitor regulatory changes and update policies to ensure compliance with legislation and corporate requirements.
• Represent EHS in regional leadership forums and global discussions.
• Lead risk assessments, investigations, and corrective action across service and project activities.
• Oversee incident reporting, root-cause analysis, and safety training initiatives.
