Job summary

Eaton is seeking an EMEA Services Power Distribution Trainer to deliver technical training on Power Distribution products and services to employees, ASPs, contractors and customers in the EMEA region. You will develop materials, work with product management and engineering, and ensure training aligns with industry standards and safety requirements.

The role requires strong technical knowledge of MV/LV power distribution, excellent presentation skills, and fluency in Dutch and English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field preferred, or EQF Level 4 equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on testing or field service experience with MV power distribution systems.
• Technical knowledge of electrical power systems including switchgear, transformers, and motors.
• Knowledge of electrical safety practices including EN 50110.
• Strong presentation, communication and technical writing skills.
• Experience creating training materials using Microsoft Office, Teams, and digital learning tools.
• Understanding of adult learning principles and effective training methods.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Deliver training on Eaton Power Distribution products, systems and services to employees, ASPs, contractors and customers across the EMEA region.
• Act as SME; transfer technical knowledge and practical skills via classroom, virtual and hands-on programs.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Service Operations, Marketing and Sales to align training with business needs.
• Develop, review and improve training materials and curricula to match product developments and industry standards.
• Stay up to date with latest electrical requirements and innovations in the field.
• Create, maintain and update lesson plans and reference materials for PD training.
• Coordinate training events, set-up, scheduling and travel as needed.
• Participate in e-learning, classroom and hands-on sessions as part of the EMEA PD Training Center Team.
