Job summary

Jobtailor in Amsterdam is seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to manage EMEA payroll processes across countries and act as the main contact for international employees and third parties.

You will partner with Finance on audits, wage taxes and month-end closings, maintain data integrity in Oracle Fusion, and stay updated on local regulations while ensuring GDPR data protection.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of payroll administration experience in an international environment.
• Completed higher education degree.
• High attention to detail; structured and organized.
• Research, analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills; ability to work independently and as a team player.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Hands-on experience with ADP Celergo systems and Oracle Fusion applications preferred.
• Ability to follow up and meet deadlines.
• Understanding and knowledge of in-country payroll and statutory compliance.
• Fluency in English; other European languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute all EMEA payroll processes for certain countries, supported by local payroll services
• Resolve payroll queries and issues as the main contact for international employees and third parties
• Maintain and update payroll data across systems
• Partner with Finance on audits, wage taxes, payroll reconciliation, month-end and year-end closing, and rulings
• Support HR with analyses, reports, benchmarking, performance management, and other projects
• Support creation and implementation of payroll, compensation, and benefits processes and policies
• Develop solutions for ad-hoc payroll cases
• Assist with implementation of remaining payroll modules in Oracle
• Stay current with local payroll regulations
• Lead payroll setup in new regions when applicable
• Support payroll vendor change projects and initiatives
• Perform payroll controls under SOX controls
• Handle payroll year-end activities
• Provide payroll accuracy advice and collaborate cross-functionally across the company
• Report directly to the Senior Manager Payroll and HR Operations
