Job summary

Datadog seeks a seasoned Platform/SRE/DevOps professional who can translate real-world experience into technical storytelling. You will act as a SME for service management, build compelling demos, write blogs, and coach engineering teams on effective communication.

You will collaborate with product and open source communities to influence messaging and drive integration work, contributing to product feedback and documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as Platform/SRE/DevOps or software development with on-call experience.
• Strong grasp of service-management practices (incident response, on-call, post-incident reviews).
• Experience with modern tooling for incident response and orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for service management within advocacy and engineering teams.
• Create content across demos, talks, blogs, docs, webinars, and open source.
• Partner with product teams to build demos and coach engineers on communication.
• Interface with open source communities to shape market messages.
• Contribute to product via feedback, docs, or code.
