Job summary

VanMoof is seeking an Electrical Engineer Intern to help design next-generation connected e-bikes, collaborating with the hardware and embedded software teams in Amsterdam and Taipei. You will report to the Head of R&D - Hardware and Embedded Software and contribute across the R&D organization.

You'll join a fast-paced team, drive subsystem design, bring-up, testing, and releases, and participate in design reviews while ensuring validation and certification of the overall system.

Qualifications

• Experience with consumer electronics and embedded systems.
• Familiarity with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to define subsystems for connected devices.
• Strong testing, validation, and certification mindset.

Responsibilities

• Define optimized, high-performance system designs.
• Implement subsystems for a connected e-bike.
• Drive system design, bring-up, and releases.
• Participate in design and code reviews.
• Ensure testing and certification of the system.
