Job summary

Evondos Oy is seeking a Medior/Senior Embedded Software Engineer to design, implement, and test core subsystems for our Medido device. You will work within a multidisciplinary NL R&D team in Zoetermeer, contributing to high-reliability medical software.

You will develop bare-metal C on STM microcontrollers, maintain Python test infrastructure, and mentor juniors, with a hybrid work model requiring 2 days/week in the Zoetermeer office. English required; Dutch a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of embedded software development experience.
• Strong in bare-metal C and Python.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and medical device software standards is a plus.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and perform unit tests.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop complex bare-metal C applications on STM microcontrollers.
• Maintain and expand Python-based testing infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze field data and telemetry to guide software improvements.
• Collaborate with Product Owner and SPM to refine requirements and feasibility.
• Mentor junior developers and perform code reviews.
