Job summary

Weheat in Duizel is looking for a Firmware Engineer to develop the intelligent layer within our heat pumps. You will write embedded firmware in C/C++ that processes real-time data, optimizes systems, and improves energy efficiency.

You will collaborate with thermo, mechanical, control systems and software teams, debug embedded systems, run tests, and contribute to firmware architecture that enhances product quality and user experience, with on-site work in Duizel.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of firmware or embedded software experience in C/C++.
• Strong debugging and testing skills on embedded platforms.
• Interest in IoT, real-time optimization and energy efficiency.
• Excellent communication in Dutch and/or English.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded firmware for heat pumps and real-time data processing.
• Optimize energy efficiency through firmware optimizations.
