Weheat, based in the Eindhoven region with a Utrecht hub, seeks a data engineer to design, build, and evolve the data platform powering heat-pump telemetry, energy optimization, and BI. You will bring structure, reliability, and clarity across hardware telemetry and software layers, collaborating on-site with engineers, operations, and product teams in Duizel.

Qualifications

• Strong background in data engineering and distributed data systems.
• Experience designing and building data platforms serving multiple domains.
• Skilled in reliable ETL/ELT, data lakes, or data warehouses at scale.
• Experience with time-series pipelines, streaming, or IoT-scale architectures.
• Strong communicator across engineering, operations, sales, and finance.
• Proactive mindset focused on scale, reliability, and clarity.
• Bonus: experience in energy, manufacturing, telemetry, or embedded/real-time systems.
