Job summary

Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) seeks an Assistant Professor in Integrated Circuits to advance edge AI computing with a focus on energy-efficient analog and mixed-signal CMOS design. The role includes leading a research program, developing open-source methodologies, and mentoring PhD and EngD students.

You will teach in ICs and related areas, supervise research projects, and collaborate with industry to secure national and European funding.

Qualifications

  • PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
  • Experience with IC design implementation and tapeout, analog/digital/mixed-signal.
  • Strong teaching and leadership abilities.
  • Excellent English communication.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and lead an independent research program focused on energy-efficient CMOS design for edge AI, neuromorphic computing, and in-/near-sensor computing.
  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in ICs, digital/analog circuits, and neuromorphic computing.
  • Supervise PhD and Master’s students and contribute to bachelor/master projects.
  • Collaborate with industry and academia to establish partnerships and funding.
