Technische Universiteit Eindhoven in Eindhoven seeks an Assistant Professor in Integrated Circuits to strengthen research and teaching in edge AI computing. The role focuses on energy-efficient analog and mixed-signal CMOS design, open-source methodologies, and hardware accelerators for edge AI.

You will lead an independent program, secure funding, and contribute to teaching within the IC group and EE department.

Qualifications

• PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or comparable domain.
• Strong background in energy-efficient analog/mixed-signal CMOS design.
• Excellent command of English (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead an independent research program on energy-efficient CMOS design for edge AI.
• Develop domain-specific architecture and neuromorphic accelerators for edge AI.
• Design RTL implementations and digital accelerators for neuromorphic workloads.
• Conduct analog-digital co-design and multi-project wafer runs; silicon validation.
• Promote open-source chip design methodologies and tools.
• Supervise and mentor students at various levels.
• Collaborate with industry and academia to form partnerships and internships.
