Job summary

TU/e (Eindhoven University of Technology) seeks an Assistant/Associate Professor in Integrated Circuits for next‑generation communication and sensing systems. The role focuses on energy‑efficient IF/RF/mixed‑signal design, with emphasis on programmable, high‑performance ICs and nanoscale integration between analog and digital domains.

You will lead research in the IC group, collaborate across departments, translate findings into industry‑driven innovation, and contribute to teaching,

Qualifications

  • PhD in Electrical Engineering with internationally recognized expertise in analog, RF and mixed-signal IC design.
  • Hands-on experience translating concepts into practical IC implementations, including RF/analog designs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the IC research line focusing on the IF section of communication and sensing systems.
  • Collaborate across the IC group and other EE research groups to foster cross‑domain innovation.
  • Translate research outcomes into technological innovation with industry partners.
  • Teach Bachelor’s and Master’s courses and develop curricula.
  • Supervise PhD, EngD, MSc and BSc students.
  • Acquire funding from national and European programs and industry.
  • Enhance international visibility through publications and conferences.
  • Contribute to academic leadership and departmental initiatives.
