Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) invites applications for an Assistant Professor in Integrated Circuits focused on edge AI. The role spans research leadership, teaching, and service, with emphasis on energy-efficient analog/mixed-signal CMOS design, open-source methodologies, and hardware accelerators.

Qualifications

• PhD in Electrical Engineering or comparable domain.
• Experience with IC design implementation in silicon and at least one tapeout.
• Strong teaching and mentoring capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal English required.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead an independent research program in energy-efficient IC design for edge AI.
• Develop neuromorphic and in-/near-sensor computing architectures.
• Design and optimize RTL and accelerator designs for edge AI workloads.
• Promote open-source chip design methodologies and tools.
• Supervise students and collaborate with industry and academia.
