TU/e in Eindhoven invites applications for an Assistant/Associate Professor in Integrated Circuits for Next-Generation Communication and Sensing Systems. The role spans research leadership in IF‑circuit design, cross‑group collaboration, and education, with substantial industry interaction and funding responsibilities.

The candidate will lead energy-efficient, programmable IC concepts and supervise PhD/MSc students while contributing to curriculum development and international visibility.

Qualifications

• PhD in Electrical Engineering with expertise in analog, RF and mixed-signal IC design.
• Hands-on experience translating concepts into practical IC implementations, including RF and analog designs.
• Strong system-level co-design of RF/IF circuits and RF sampling ADC concepts.
• Proven track record in publishing high-impact research and securing competitive funding (e.g., NWO, ERC, Horizon Europe).
• Experience supervising PhD candidates and graduate students; commitment to education.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the IC research line focusing on the IF section of communication and sensing systems.
• Collaborate across IC group and other EE groups; translate research into technological innovations with industry.
• Teach Bachelor's and Master's courses; develop new curricula.
• Supervise PhD, EngD, MSc, BSc students.
• Acquire research funding from national and European programs.
• Strengthen international visibility through publications and networks.
• Contribute to academic leadership and departmental initiatives.
