Job summary

Sofitel Legend the Grand Amsterdam invites aspiring hospitality professionals to join as a Duty Management Trainee. You will assist the Duty Manager, gain hands-on experience in a luxury five-star setting, and support daily operations in an international hotel.

Qualifications

• You are studying hospitality management at HBO level.
• You are available for at least 5 months.
• You speak English fluently. Every other language is a plus.
• You are flexible (available 24/7), serious and attentive and stand firmly in your shoes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the work of a Duty Manager in an international, luxury five-star hotel.
• Support operations of the hotel and represent management in their absence.
• Help balance regular work with ad hoc situations and make quick, appropriate decisions.
• Coach and monitor colleagues to provide consistent service and guest satisfaction.
