Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Technical Sales Specialist (m/f/d) – Downstream Bioproduction to join the Bioproduction Sales organization on a 9‑month fixed-term contract. The role covers Germany, the Netherlands, and selected V4 countries with field-based engagement across Europe.

You will apply your technical knowledge of downstream bioproduction workflows to support discussions, portfolio positioning, and customer success while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in biotechnology or related field is required or equivalent experience.
• Experience in bioproduction, downstream processing, or related life sciences environments.
• Business-fluent English is required; German and Dutch are a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support field sales activities across downstream bioproduction workflow portfolio.
• Partner with account managers to cover Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, Hungary, and other V4 countries.
• Understand customer workflows, identify needs, and support solution positioning.
• Engage with MSAT, manufacturing, procurement, and supply chain stakeholders for discussions.
• Contribute to territory and account planning with customer insights and market intelligence.
• Support customer evaluations through technical discussions, sample coordination, and workflow optimization.
