Job summary

W Amsterdam is op zoek naar een Doorman met aanwezigheid die gasten bij binnenkomst warm verwelkomt en begeleidt door het hotel. Jij bepaalt de eerste indruk en zorgt voor een vlekkeloze start van het verblijf in een iconisch lifestyle-hotel in het centrum van Amsterdam.

Je werkzaamheden omvatten het helpen met bagage, coördineren van taxi's en nauw samenwerken met Front Office, Concierge en Security. Een sterke hospitality-gedachte en proactieve instelling vormen de basis van jouw rol.

Qualifications

• Vloeiende Engelse taalvaardigheid vereist; aanvullende talen zijn een plus.
• Ervaring in hospitality of gastenservice is gewenst.

Responsibilities

• Hartelijk, professioneel en energiek gasten verwelkomen bij binnenkomst.
• Gasten assisteren met bagage en begeleiden naar de juiste plekken in het hotel.
• Taxi's en vervoer coördineren en tegemoetkomende gastenwensen faciliteren.
• Nauw samenwerken met Front Office, Concierge en Security voor een naadloze gastenreis.
• Een veilige, schone en goed georganiseerde ingang waarborgen.
• De Whatever/Whenever® servicefilosofie tot leven brengen in elk contact.
• Gasten verwennen met persoonlijke touch en uitstekende gastvrijheid.

What will you do?

• Warmly, professionally, and energetically welcome guests upon arrival
• Assist guests with their luggage and guide them to the appropriate locations within the hotel
• Coordinate taxis, transportation services, and guest requests
• Collaborate closely with Front Office, Concierge, and Security teams to ensure a seamless guest journey
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized entrance area
• Bring the W service philosophy, "Whatever/Whenever®", to life in every guest interaction
• Delight guests with your personal touch, attention to detail, and exceptional hospitality skills

• Is professional, presentable, friendly, and service-oriented.
• Thrives in a dynamic and international setting.
• Is proactive and always willing to go the extra mile for guests.
• Is flexible and available to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Speaks fluent English; additional languages are considered a plus.
• Maintains a positive attitude and remains calm and professional under pressure.
• Has a genuine passion for creating memorable guest experiences and delivering exceptional service.
