W Amsterdam, located in the heart of Amsterdam, is seeking a Night Welcome Desk Agent to join our Welcome Team and create unforgettable guest experiences during the night.

You will be the face of the hotel overnight, ensuring guests feel safe, welcomed and cared for while handling check-ins, inquiries and night audit tasks with professionalism. This full-time role requires rotating shifts, weekends and holidays, and offers opportunities to grow within the Corendon group.

We are currently looking for a Night Welcome Desk Agent to join our Welcome Team and create unforgettable guest experiences during the night.

As a Night Welcome Desk Agent, you are the face of W Amsterdam during the night. You ensure guests feel safe, welcomed and cared for while contributing to unforgettable experiences. Every night is different, offering new challenges, interactions and opportunities to shine.

What does the job include?

Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Welcoming guests during the night and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out experience.

• Acting as the main point of contact for guests during overnight hours.

• Handling guest requests, questions and complaints professionally and efficiently.

• Performing night audit procedures and ensuring all financial transactions are processed correctly.

• Monitoring arrivals, departures and room allocations.

• Maintaining accurate guest records and updating hotel systems.

• Coordinating closely with Security, Housekeeping and other operational departments.

• Handling incoming phone calls and emails during night shifts.

• Ensuring the lobby, reception area and back-office remain organized and presentable.

• Creating memorable guest experiences through personalized service and attention to detail.

• Providing information about hotel facilities, services and local attractions.

• Handling emergencies and following all hotel safety and security procedures.

• Supporting operational departments where necessary and working together as one team.

• Preparing reports and ensuring a smooth handover to the morning shift.

• Maintaining company standards regarding confidentiality, appearance, professionalism and guest service.

• Working rotating shifts including nights, weekends and public holidays.

What are we looking for?

• Experience in Front Office, Reception or Guest Services is preferred.

• Excellent communication skills in English; Dutch is a strong advantage.

• Comfortable working independently during night shifts.

• Strong administrative and organizational skills.

• Experience with hotel management systems is an advantage.

• A service-oriented mindset with a passion for hospitality.

• Flexible, proactive and solution-focused.

• Able to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.

• Available to work nights, weekends and public holidays.

• Experience in the same or similar role

• Fluency in English

• Dutch and any other language is appreciated

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Service-oriented, professional and guest-focused attitude.

• Ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong administrative and organizational skills with attention to detail.

• Experience with hotel management systems (such as Opera Cloud) is an advantage.

• Knowledge of Amsterdam and its attractions is a plus.

• Work Permit for The Netherlands is required.

• Driver license B is a must
