We’re looking for an experienced Lead Document Controller who thrives in complex, high-impact project environments. If you enjoy combining hands‑on document control with team leadership—and want to play a key role in a landmark energy infrastructure project—this could be your next step.

About the Project & Company

You’ll be working for a major player in large‑scale energy and infrastructure engineering. The project is one of the largest of its kind in Europe, spanning approximately 200,000 man‑hours and comparable in scale to a 2.2 GW development.

Based in the south‑west of the Netherlands, you’ll operate from a professional project office environment, collaborating closely with international engineering and project teams on infrastructure development.

What Will You Do?

• Leading, coordinating, and motivating a team of 5–8 Document Controllers
• Overseeing the full lifecycle of technical documentation across all project phases
• Structuring, monitoring, and safeguarding document quality, consistency, and compliance
• Managing large volumes of multidisciplinary engineering documentation
• Acting as a key interface between document control, engineering, planning, and project management teams
• Ensuring smooth document flow in a fast‑paced, high‑complexity project environment
• Contributing hands‑on where needed, while maintaining oversight and control

• Solid engineering background with a strong understanding of technical workflows
• Proven experience in a lead‑level Document Control role within large engineering or infrastructure projects
• Demonstrated ability to manage and guide a team of 5–8 professionals
