Job summary

Via Logistics is seeking a Distribution Center Manager to lead a high-volume, automation-driven distribution center in an international environment. You will oversee operations, strategy, and organizational development to drive performance and safety while aligning with business objectives.

The role combines hands-on leadership with change management, analytics, and collaboration across Operations, IT and Supply Chain teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Logistics, Operations Management, Engineering or related field.
• Strong experience in warehouse and distribution center operations.
• Proven track record in change management and operational transformation projects.
• Experience with warehouse automation and advanced distribution technologies.
• Strong analytical skills with a process-driven mindset.
• Ability to align people, processes and systems to achieve operational excellence.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills in an international environment.
• Fluent English; Dutch language is considered an advantage.

Our client operates an international distribution center in a dynamic, fast-paced logistics environment.

As Distribution Center Manager, you are responsible for the overall performance of the distribution center, covering operations, strategy and organizational development. You play a key role in ensuring the site operates efficiently, safely and in line with business objectives.

This is a hands-on leadership position. You are actively involved in the operation, driving performance, solving operational challenges and leading continuous improvement initiatives. You create structure in a complex environment and ensure that people, processes and technology work together effectively.

The operation continues to evolve through further automation, digitalization and process optimization. As Distribution Center Manager, you help guide this development while maintaining high levels of service, productivity and employee engagement.

Your working environment
You will lead a modern, highly complex distribution center characterized by:

• High-volume, and diverse fulfillment operations
• Increasing levels of automation and system integration
• A WMS-driven operation with a strong focus on continuous optimization
• Dynamic customer and supply chain requirements
• Close collaboration between Operations, IT and Supply Chain teams
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Logistics, Operations Management, Engineering or a related field
