Job summary

DSV zoekt een Warehouse Manager die de volledige magazijnoperatie aanstuurt en een team van Supervisors en Team Leaders leidt. Je werkt nauw samen met Operations, Customer Service en Planning om doelstellingen te realiseren en processen continu te verbeteren.

Je hebt HBO-niveau in logistiek of supply chain en minimaal 3 jaar managementervaring in logistiek. De rol is een vaste daytime baan met ruimte voor ontwikkeling en een dynamische werkomgeving in Venlo.

Qualifications

HBO-diploma in logistiek of supply chain management.
Minimaal 3 jaar managementervaring in logistiek of productie.
Sterke communicatie in Nederlands en Engels; analytisch en georganiseerd.

Responsibilities

Algemeen beheer van de magazijnoperaties, inbound tot outbound.
Leiden, coachen en ontwikkelen van Supervisors en Team Leaders.
Volgen van KPI's en operationele prestaties; rapportages aan management.
Effectieve workforce planning en staffing.
Doorlopende verbeterprojecten en standaardisatie van processen.
Nauw samenwerken met Operations, Customer Service en Planning.

As a Warehouse Manager, you are responsible for the overall warehouse operation. You lead Supervisors and Team Leaders, ensure that productivity and quality targets are achieved, and continuously improve processes to deliver the best possible service to customers.

What will you do? As a Warehouse Manager, you oversee the daily warehouse operation and manage multiple teams through Supervisors and Team Leaders.

Your responsibilities include:

Managing the overall warehouse operation, including inbound, storage, order picking, and outbound processes
Leading, coaching, and developing Supervisors and Team Leaders
Monitoring KPIs, productivity, quality, and operational performance
Ensuring efficient workforce planning and optimal staffing levels
Driving continuous improvement projects and implementing new processes
Working closely with Operations, Customer Service, Planning, and customers
Preparing management reports and analysing operational performance
Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and company standards

You also have:

A completed Bachelor’s degree (HBO), preferably in Logistics or Supply Chain Management
At least 3 years of management experience within logistics or manufacturing

Experience with KPI management and continuous improvement
Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English
Strong analytical and organizational skills
