Job summary

Alfen is seeking a Discipline Expert Hardware to lead a hardware engineering team within Electric Vehicle Charging (EVC). You will drive technical excellence, ownership of EMC testing, and the progression from prototype to series production at Alfen's facilities.

You will develop standards, guide eight hardware engineers, and collaborate with product managers and R&D to shape the hardware discipline and roadmap.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Embedded Systems or related field.
• At least 10 years of hardware development experience.
• Experience coaching and developing engineers while leading teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead a hardware engineering team of ~8 engineers.
• Safeguard technical standards, methods and capabilities.
• Align capacity with the EVC roadmap and drive technical decisions.
• Collaborate with R&D, TPMs and external partners on EMC and testing.
