Job summary

WEC Lines is a Rotterdam-based maritime transport company seeking an Administrative Employee Disbursements. You will independently manage financial and administrative processes, collaborate with internal teams and external parties, and contribute to accurate and timely disbursement handling.

Requirements include a financial background with MBO 4/HBO level, fluency in Dutch and English, and a proactive ownership mindset to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• MBO 4 or HBO level with a financial background, preferably in logistics.
• Excellent Dutch and English written and spoken communication.
• Ownership mindset and goal-oriented to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse cost and revenue reports, compare with budgets.
• Check and book incoming invoices from suppliers and port authorities.
• Maintain contact with agents and suppliers on discrepancies and disputes.
• Coordinate with internal departments on discrepancies and process improvements.
• Prepare and verify financial data for internal reporting.
• Contribute to month-end closing, including accruals.
