Job summary

Walker International Transportation is seeking an All-round Financial Assistant to join a small, hands-on finance team in the Netherlands. The role focuses on accounts payable while supporting accounts receivable and other financial tasks, with Mondays and Fridays fixed.

You will collaborate with the Finance Manager Shirley and colleagues Fleur and Sjunaica, processing invoices, reconciling payments, and assisting with month-end closings.

Qualifications

• Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• MBO level education or equivalent.
• Meticulous and structured way of working.

Responsibilities

• Process, check, and book incoming invoices.
• Match invoices with transport documents and accruals.
• Identify discrepancies and follow up on issues.
• Prepare invoices for payment and reconcile bank transactions.
• Support accounts receivable and credit control.
• Assist with month-end closures and financial reporting.
