Job summary

NetApp, Inc. seeks a senior leader to unite Solution Architects and GTM teams for cyber resilience, migration, and modernisation across EMEA/LATAM. You will own pipeline, win rates, and bookings growth, while shaping trusted engagement with CIOs and CISOs.

You will drive cross‑functional programs, align technical and commercial strategies, and travel as needed to accelerate multi‑regional initiatives and enterprise applications modernization.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in enterprise technology including strategic and people leadership.
• Experience leading both technical (pre-sales, solution architecture) and commercial (business development, GTM) profiles.
• Depth in at least two domains: ransomware/recovery, immutability, NIS2/DORA, virtualization, migration at estate scale, SAP/Oracle storage.
• Able to influence across sales, technical, marketing and partner organisations in a multi-country environment.
• Executive presence with CIOs and CISOs; fluent English; willing to travel across EMEA/LATAM.

Job Summary

Most of what our customers cannot afford to lose already runs on NetApp: their ERP and database estates, their virtualised platforms, and the backups they will depend on the day something goes wrong. That is a strong place to start a conversation, and right now three things are forcing those conversations to happen at once.

Cyber resilience has become a board and legal matter rather than an IT one, with NIS2 and DORA in enforcement across Europe and ransomware aimed squarely at the recovery path. Virtualisation economics have been turned over, so estates that were settled for a decade are being re-evaluated, alongside consolidation, data centre exits and workloads moving back from public cloud. And the applications that run the business, SAP and Oracle in particular, are being modernised and moved hybrid, which puts their data platform up for decision.

We are building the engine to go after all three properly, and both halves of it are already here: Solution Architects who design for cyber resilience, migration and modernisation, and mission-critical applications, and business development people who build the propositions and target lists that open those conversations. What we want now is to run them as one team, with one plan, going after this opportunity proactively rather than one deal at a time.

You lead the Solution Architects and the business development and GTM profiles for cyber resilience, migration and modernisation, and enterprise applications across EMEA/LATAM, and you are accountable for a commercial result: incremental pipeline, a better win rate, and bookings growth year over year.

Job Requirements

12+ years in enterprise technology including strategic and people leadership, with 5+ years managing people. Experience leading both technical (pre-sales, solution architecture) and commercial (business development, GTM) profiles, or a credible case for why you can.
A record of creating pipeline rather than inheriting it, with the numbers and the plays behind it.
Real depth in at least two of the three domains, and enough in the third to set a bar rather than repeat one: ransomware and recovery architecture, immutability and air-gapped recovery, NIS2 and DORA and what they require in practice, virtualisation and container platforms, migration and repatriation at estate scale, and the storage requirements of SAP, Oracle and other mission-critical applications.
Commercial and dimensioning judgement: able to test whether a solution is right-sized and defend a design choice, including a smaller one, under pressure.
Able to influence without authority across sales, technical, marketing and partner organisations in a matrixed, multi-country environment.
Executive presence with CIOs and CISOs, including when the outcome is uncertain.
Fluent English and willing to travel across EMEA/LATAM

Education

Preferred qualifications

Experience selling or architecting into regulated industries, and familiarity with how European financial services, healthcare and public sector buy resilience.
Experience building a GTM motion from scratch, and the team that runs it.
Relationships with the integrator, hypervisor, application and security ecosystems that influence these decisions.
Experience with hyperscalers and partner-led sales models.
A storage or data infrastructure background helps but is not required.
Another European language.
