Job summary

Nexus Search is representing a leading advisory firm in the Dutch market for a true Director seat in Debt Advisory, based in the Randstad region. You will build the client book, originate new mandates and lead complex financing processes from first conversation to close.

You’ll spot market developments, grow relationships, originate independently, and advise on financing options while acting as the senior point of contact for clients, lenders, and legal counsel.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years in financing (Leveraged Finance, Acquisition Finance, Corporate Lending, Project Finance or Debt Advisory).
• Fluent Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Spot market developments and turn them into commercial opportunities.
• Grow existing client relationships and open new ones.
• Originate independently and involve senior colleagues where needed.
• Advise clients on financing options, terms and conditions.
• Be senior point of contact for clients, lenders and legal counsel.
• Own deal execution end to end and lead the deal team.
• Help shape the future of the Debt Advisory offering.

The opportunity

Financing is getting more complex. Corporates, investors and shareholders are navigating shifting markets and a tougher funding landscape, and they need a senior debt advisor they can trust with the big decisions.

This is a true Director seat. You’ll build the client book, originate new mandates and lead complex financing processes from first conversation to close.

The role

• Spot market developments and turn them into commercial opportunities
• Grow existing client relationships and open new ones
• Originate independently, bringing in partners and senior colleagues where it adds value
• Advise clients on financing options, terms and conditions
• Be the senior point of contact for clients, lenders and legal counsel
• Own deal execution end to end and lead the deal team
• Help shape the future of the Debt Advisory offering

What you bring

• Around 8 to 10 years in financing, such as Leveraged Finance, Acquisition Finance, Corporate Lending, Project Finance or Debt Advisory
• Deep knowledge of the financing landscape and a range of debt products
• A track record in commercial development and origination
• Broad execution experience, with the ability to lead complex deals independently
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Fluent Dutch and English
