Marktlink Debt Advisory is expanding and seeks a Senior Associate to empower entrepreneurs, investors and businesses with tailored debt solutions for acquisitions, refinancings, and recapitalisations.

You will work on diverse financing transactions requiring analytical insight, commercial thinking and strong execution in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment with real responsibility from day one.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in financial advisory, corporate finance or investment banking.
• Native Dutch fluency and strong command of written and verbal English.
• Excellent analytical and financial modelling skills.
• Good understanding of financing structures, credit analysis, and LMA documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative spirit and entrepreneurial mindset.

Responsibilities

• Support clients in arranging acquisition financing, refinancings and restructuring processes.
• Conduct financial and company analyses, build complex financial models, assess capital structures, and support decision-making with well-founded insights.
• Assist in the preparation of complex financial models, financing memoranda, and management meetings.
• Participate in client meetings, lender negotiations and transaction structuring discussions.
• Guide and review the work of junior analysts, and collaborate closely with other mid-level team members.

Marktlink Debt Advisory is one of the newest additions to our growing business. Within Marktlink Debt Advisory, you'll have the opportunity to empower entrepreneurs, investors, and businesses with tailored debt solutions to support growth, acquisitions, and transitions as the demand for expert capital structuring and financing advice continues to rise.

You will work on diverse and challenging financing transactions that require analytical insight, commercial thinking, and strong execution skills. You'll support clients in navigating acquisition financing, refinancing, capital raising and recapitalisation processes. All within a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment where you'll gain real responsibility from day one.

Your responsibilities

As Senior Associate, you will play a pivotal role in project execution and client support. You will:

• Support clients in arranging acquisition financing, refinancings and restructuring processes.
• Conduct financial and company analyses, build complex financial models, assess capital structures, and support decision-making with well-founded insights.
• Assist in the preparation of complex financial models, financing memoranda, and management meetings.
• Participate in client meetings, lender negotiations and transaction structuring discussions.
• Guide and review the work of junior analysts, and collaborate closely with other mid-level team members.

Your profile

You are hands-on, entrepreneurial, and driven to build something new. You are excited to be part of a dynamic and ambitious team, and you bring a mix of curiosity, a learning mindset and a client-oriented way of thinking.

• A master's degree in Finance or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in financial advisory, corporate finance or investment banking, preferably in leveraged finance, structured finance, or debt advisory.
• Native Dutch fluency and strong command of written and verbal English.
• Excellent analytical and financial modelling skills.
• A good understanding of financing structures, credit analysis, and LMA documentation.
• The ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• A collaborative spirit, entrepreneurial mindset and drive to succeed.
