Job summary

Marktlink Debt Advisory is seeking a hands-on Senior Associate to support acquisition financing, refinancing and debt structuring. You will conduct analyses, build complex financial models and participate in client meetings and lender negotiations.

The ideal candidate holds a master's in Finance, 3-5 years in financial advisory, and fluent Dutch and English. You will work in Amsterdam, benefit from a generous bonus, unlimited holidays, and a modern central office.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance or related field.
• 3-5 years in financial advisory, corporate finance or investment banking, preferably in leveraged finance, structured finance, or debt advisory.
• Native Dutch fluency and strong command of written and verbal English.
• Excellent analytical and financial modelling skills.
• Good understanding of financing structures, credit analysis, and LMA documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative spirit, entrepreneurial mindset and drive to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Support clients in arranging acquisition financing, refinancings and restructuring processes.
• Conduct financial and company analyses, build complex financial models, assess capital structures, and support decision-making with well‑found insights.
• Assist in the preparation of complex financial models, financing memoranda, and management meetings.
• Participate in client meetings, lender negotiations and transaction structuring discussions.
• Guide and review the work of junior analysts, and collaborate closely with other mid‑level team members.
